Sandston Lodge #216 is pleased to support Eastern Henrico FISH Inc.   FISH has been in operation for over 30 years, assisting residents of eastern Henrico who have "short term emergencies" that require immediate attention.  FISH provides food, clothing, rent/utility assistance, or help with financial needs as deemed appropriate. If you are in need of assistance, please call FISH's emergency number at 257-7730.

FISH organizers are currently asking for the following items through the end of May, 2008:

Needed items:

1.) Toothpaste
2.) Toothbrushes

Please drop off these items at the Sandston Temple at you earliest convenience.  If you would prefer, you may contact one of the lodge officer http://www.sandston216.com/Officers.htm   who will be happy to accept you generous donation.

Eastern Henrico FISH need your help.

Eastern Henrico FISH, a non-profit organization is seeking donations.  Worshipful Jimmy W. Burton, Master of Sandston Masonic Lodge #216, has endorsed this program and encouraged us all to join him with your own individual charitable donation.

 

Each month a representative of FISH will suggest a food item, article of clothes other needs, to our lodge membership.  That request will be posted here as well as in the monthly newsletter.  Please do your part, give liberally.

Ms. Jo Wallo, a representative of FISH, recently visited with the brethren of Sandston.  After dinner she shared some touching stories and elaborated on the reasons FISH was created.   Her remarks we heartwarming and inspirational.
